How do I sell in the classifieds section?

A. Selling on Obo-Local Classifieds of Park City is really easy. Simply go to the classifieds section. Login if you have an account or create an account for free. WE NEVER SELL OR SHARE E-MAIL ADDRESSES WITH ANYONE! WE HATE SPAM! Once you are registered, click the "Place an ad" link. Select the category you want for your classified ad. Make sure you go all the way down the sub-categories to the proper category for your ad. Fill in the information then click the submit button. Now you may add photos. You may add up to four (4) photos per classified ad. If you don't want any photos, simply click the No images button. Details of the ad will now be shown. Click approve or make modifications as you like. You now will be on the payment screen. All prices are shown in advance. Most ads are free. Optional upgrades may have a charge depending on the category. Most of the Park City real estate classifieds do have a one-time fee associated with them. But you may renew as many times as you like for FREE!

Select your payment type and click approve and and you're done! The classified ad will have to be checked by our administration staff to determine if the ad is legitimately serving the Park City Utah Area and that it is not SPAM or have any offending content. Once it is approved, your Park City Classified Ad goes live for potentially thousands of viewers! You will be sent a notification along each stage of the process, but we will not solicit you for any reason. A few day's before expiration, you will recieve an e-mail notifying you that your classified ad is about to expire. You may then renew it for free or let it expire. The reason for this is to help save you steps if you do want to renew.

A. Just as safe as you may be on any site. We use 1024 bit encryption on all secure transactions on our classifieds site. We value your safety as much as we do ours. Credit card numbers are not stored and any transactions are done through secured servers which you may check at any time by clicking on our "Secure Seal".

However, we can not stress enough that you should NEVER share your personal information with anyone online unless you know them well enough to share any kind of sensitive information. We never suggest you share any kind of personal information including social security numbers, bank account information, credit card numbers, birthdates or any other kind of vital information that may allow anyone to take advantage of you. We will NEVER contact you asking for any of this information. If you are ever contacted with a request for personal information, we suggest you report these interactions with local law enforcement agencies.
